If there is one constancy in NE Ohio in spring, it has to be the unpredictability of the weather! So little snow this past winter, but so far, a long, cool spring, which is just fine by me! It’s the end of March and I’m spending more time outside cleaning perennial beds and preparing for the gardening season.
We have an exciting opportunity to tour Tom’s Foolery, owned by Tom Herbruck (nephew of our own Dozie Herbruck) and to learn about the process of turning local fruit and grain into apple jack whiskey. Tom doesn’t normally give tours and tastings, so this is a special treat!
