Botanical Arts
Botanical Arts is a group of activities classed together for programs, workshop teaching opportunities, and inclusion in Flower Show Division 4. Other categories in Botanical Arts include Needlework, Botanical Embellishment, Botanical Drawing/Painting, and Artwork Creations using Pressed Flowers.
SLGC Members are very actively engaged in entering flower shows around the country, and bring home many awards.
In May 2018, SLGC sponsored a flower show, The Flowers that Bloom in the Spring, Tra La! The entries in Botanical Arts were astoundingly beautiful. Class 4, the shadow boxes, won a Judges Commendation. The winners:
