Deadline for Changing Membership Status
Requests for a change in membership status – Active to Associate, for instance - must be made in writing to the Corresponding Secretary Hallie Stewart no later than May 15 for action by the Executive Committee. See page 47, Standing Rules, in the Directory. Also, please notify Caroline Borrow, Club Administrator, of changes in status and also your updated contact information. Caroline Emmet needs to have your correct information for the Directory no later than the end of June, and Caroline Borrow needs it for the SLGC club listing on the GCA website. In addition to address changes, please note which phone number is your preferred number, and that will appear in bold in the Directory.
The Nature Center Needs You!
The Nature Center needs volunteers to help with Pick Days on Wednesday, May 4, Thursday, May 5, and especially with the Plant Sale on Saturday, May 7. Shifts are typically 3-hours but can be adjusted as needed.
On May 4 & 5 - Pick Day volunteers will help group and organize orders as well as double-check orders (audit) for accuracy before sending them out for delivery. There is a significant amount of bending and lifting these days. Breaks and refreshments are offered.
On May 7 - Plant Sale volunteers have several roles to choose from - Plant Pros, Craft/Activities, Greeters, etc.

Provisional Power!
The Provisionals met to catch up and to create spring planters with pansies, tulips, Muscari and daffodils. We are all looking forward to spring weather and blooming trees and flowers.

Our own Cynthia Druckenbrod’s beautiful photo made it into GCA’s Instragram post. As the photo had to be edited to fit the required format, we are eager to see the unedited version.
