President's Letter November 2017
Sarah Dimling
Dear Friends,
I hope you have enjoyed this gift of glorious fall weather. What a luxury to put our gardens to sleep for the winter before the first sleet or snowfall. And how often can we empty, wash, sun-dry and store our containers in late October with temperatures still in the 70s! As our gardens settle in for their long winter snooze, I’m delighted that SLGC is back in full swing. Many thanks to those of you who tirelessly and consistently pitch in on our myriad activities and tasks, and a special thanks to our members who are becoming actively involved, or perhaps re-engaging, with our club. It takes a village and, indeed, we have a splendid village.
Fondly,
Sarah
