For all Perennial Centennial enterers, be you entering in Floral Design, Horticulture, or Botanical Jewelry, there is a great online database for plant nomenclature: Plantipedia. With a database of over 95,000 plant name,  it make searching for plant name by common name or by botanical name or beyond pretty easy. It also has a helpful short list with pictures of plant materials flower arrangers commonly use. The list is updated as information is added.
