I cut hundreds of dahlias each week from August through October. I tried various sizes and shapes of flower cutting tools and these are by far the most productive for quick snipping. Easy to sharpen (which I do at least weekly), they make nice clean cuts which allow for maximum hydration in buckets. Their narrow handle is great for my small hands and the narrow tip makes it easy to get to the base of each stem no matter how tangled the plant becomes.
But they aren’t just for commercial use. I use them in my perennial beds to quickly shear back dianthusand the edges of vinca minor beds. Look for them on-line.
