Dear Friends,
It’s such an unusual spring this year with days close to the 80’s followed by frost advisories. My head is spinning with all the spring bulbs shooting out of the ground and the trees suddenly leafing out! Isn’t it wonderful though, to see life spring forth from the soil after its long winter’s rest?
We have a wonderful program coming up on May 30th at Edwins Restaurant in Shaker Square. Brandon Chrostowski, the founder of Edwins, will be there as well to update us on all the great things his students are accomplishing. We can only accommodate between 30-40 people, so please sign up early! This will be an evening meeting with appetizers and libations at 6 pm, so I hope to see many of you who haven’t been able to attend our membership meetings due to work responsibilities. Please let me know if you like the idea of meetings in the evenings.
Mark your calendars for our annual meeting which will be on Friday, June 30th, beginning at 11:30 am at Robin Schachat’s lovely home. As in the past, this will be a luncheon and an awards gathering. Hope to see you all there!
Finally, we will be holding our provisional gathering on July 25th at 6 pm at Ruth Eppig’s beautiful home in Bratenahl. Please join us for a lovely evening on the lake enjoying wine, light bites and celebrating our provisional members! More details to come.
Hoping spring brings you great joy!
