New Forever Stamp
The US Postal Service has a new series of stamps just released that celebrate public gardens. Coinciding in mid-May with National Public Gardens Week, these Forever stamps feature many prominent public gardens including the famous birch allee from our very own Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens in Akron! Additional gardens pictured in this series include Coastal Maine Botanical Garden, Dumbarton Oaks Garden and Winterthur Garden among others. You can buy American Garden Forever stamps online here.

GCA Produces Great Periodicals
Do you get email notices of the GCA magazines Focus, ConWatch, The Real Dirt and other great periodicals? Do you say to yourself, "That looks interesting -- I'll read it later when I have time"? And then forget where the email went, or forget you ever received it? If so, you're not alone. Just go to the SLGC website (http://www.shakerlakesgc.org) and look at the bottom of each page. There is a link to the latest issue of the GCA magazines.
