Registration opens September 1 for What (& Where) in the World? online photography contest in GCA’s Focus magazine. There is still time to photograph gardens in all their summer glory. Other new Flower Shows with photography divisions that have posted in the last month:
"20/20 On a Clear Day You Can See Forever," a GCA Flower Show hosted by the Late Bloomers GC on March 23-25, 2020. Registration opens October 1, 2019.
"20/20 Vision, Vistas and Views," The 2020 GCA Annual Meeting Flower Show hosted by Zone VII May 3-May 5 in Asheville, NC. is a juried show -- so lots of opportunity to enter! Registration opens November 1, 2019.
A Few Weeks Left to See!
Step into a magical garden model railroad featuring G-scale trains traveling through tunnels, bridges, and animal habitats handcrafted with natural materials, at Woodland Express, presented by Fleet Response.
This world in miniature features “botanical architecture” made from leaves, twigs, and other natural materials by Applied Imagination, a Kentucky-based firm that has been producing award-winning garden railroad exhibits for decades. Among the featured elements of Woodland Express are replicas of three Ashtabula County covered bridges – Harpersfield, Riverdale and Doyle.
