Well Sweep Herb Farm in New Jersey is a great resource for herbs. You may order from their catalog but you may want to plan a visit to its farm and gardens if you happen to be in New Jersey. It is a family business in its 50th year and home to one of the largest collections of herbs and perennials in the country. It’s collection of plants tops 1898 varieties! The farm includes a butterfly, herb, medicinal, rock and formal knot garden.
New York Flower Week sounds fantastic and may be a fun filled field trip for our club in the future! This year it is a week-long event that celebrates the announcement of a larger floral event, LEAF, a city-wide festival of flowers with all the grit, energy and vitality New York has to offer, coming to Manhattan in June 2020. LEAF will be held in Manhattan in June 2020 and will feature a series of ticketed programs to include floral arranging workshops, pop-up gardens and installations, and epicurean experiences
Garden Museum in London is a museum that you might want to know about in case you visit London. The Garden Museum explores and celebrates British gardens and gardening through its collection, temporary exhibitions, events and garden. The Garden Museum is next door to Lambeth Palace, sitting on the bank of the Thames looking across to Parliament.
Living Floral: Entertaining and Decorating with Flowers, by Margot Shaw. This new book is inspirational and presents portraits of top “stylemakers” who share their joy of flowers. Interior designers Charlotte Moss, Suzanne Rheinstein, and Bunny Williams, event designer Tara Guerard, and floral and garden experts Sybil Sylvester and P. Allen Smith show how us how to incorporate flowers in home decor and present numerous ways to entertain with flair.

Floral Design Workshop
