Hypertufa Creation and Planting at CBG

For those SLGC members who missed our hypertufa workshops two years ago, or those who would like to do it again, Cleveland Botanic Garden is hosting two workshops – one for creating the hypertufa container, and one for planting its innards.  The creation date is Saturday, April 10, from 9 until 11 AM.  Bring gloves, wear messy attire (aprons over jeans!), and bring the form you would like to use as a mold.  Baskets look marvelous, but they will die in the process of molding!  Wednesday, May 11, will be the planting date for the containers, once they have cured, or you may plant your container on your own.  Please register in advance online or by calling 216.721.1600 x100.  $40 for the April workshop only, or $65 to pre-register for both.
