Life as a GCA Scholar

Andy is graduate student at the University of Michigan and studying the importance of children's gardens in the development of good environmental stewardship practices. He will speak to us about his work, and about how the GCA Scholarships have enhanced his life.
Andy also has a side business, as The Foraging Florist! He will regale us with Tales of the Foraging Florist.

Box Lunch and Workshop to Create a “Foraged Floral Arrangement” will follow at Robin Schachat’s home. Wear comfortable shoes – you will be foraging in the woods! Bring clippers, scissors, an apron if you like, and a vase of your choice.
